Privacy & data
Where the data comes from, what we display, and how to request removal.
Where the data comes from
Every athlete, competition result, and rating on CrossRank is derived from publicly available competition leaderboards published by the organisers of each event. Nothing is scraped from private accounts, protected profiles, or logged-in areas. Specific sources:
- CrossFit Games — the official worldwide leaderboard at games.crossfit.com (Open, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Games).
- Circle21 — Baltic and Nordic local-comp platform (circle21.events).
- Competition Corner — local-comp platform (competitioncorner.net).
What we display
For each athlete: the name and gym as published on the source leaderboard, their competition results, and the ratings we compute from those results. We do notdisplay email addresses, phone numbers, height, weight, or any information that isn’t already visible on the public leaderboard the data came from.
Right to erasure (GDPR Art. 17)
If you’re listed on CrossRank and want your data removed, email info@crossrank.ee with your name and a profile URL if you have one. Removals are processed manually within a reasonable time. Note that the underlying competition results remain public at their original source — removal here only affects CrossRank.
Analytics & cookies
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure aggregate page performance. These do not use cookies and do not track individual users across sites. We don’t use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or session identifiers.
