The iF3 Masters World Championship is proudly hosted by the Australian Functional Fitness Federation (AFFF), Australia’s official governing body for functional fitness and a fully recognised member of the International Functional Fitness Federation (iF3).
As the national authority under the iF3 framework, the AFFF is responsible for upholding the highest standards of competitive integrity, athlete welfare, and event delivery. The Masters World Championship operates under the official iF3 ruleset, which ensures transparent judging, consistent scoring, and standardised movement requirements across all divisions.
Athletes will be tested across the six internationally recognised iF3 tests: Endurance, Strength, Bodyweight, Skill, Mixed, and Power. These tests are carefully designed to provide a complete and fair assessment of each athlete’s physical capacity, regardless of age or background.
By competing in this event, athletes can be confident they are participating in a regulated, globally respected competition format that emphasises fairness, safety, and equal opportunity. The AFFF’s experienced team and technical officials work closely with iF3 to ensure the championship meets all international requirements and delivers a professional experience from start to finish.
